Naruto Shippuuden (Naruto: Hurricane Chronicles) is the continuation of the original animated TV series Naruto.The series takes place two and a half
years after the previous Naruto. The story
revolves around an older and slightly more matured Uzumaki Naruto and his quest to save his friend Uchiha Sasuke from the grips
of the snake-like Shinobi, Orochimaru. After 2 and a half years of training with Jiraiya, Naruto finally returns to his village of Konoha, reunites with the friends he left behind, and reforms Team 7 (renamed Team Kakashi), with Sai replacing Sasuke.
And sets about putting his ambitions to work, though it will not be easy, as He has amassed a few (more dangerous) enemies, in the likes of the
shinobi organization; Akatsuki. The organization of Akatsuki, which played a minor role earlier, takes on the main antagonist role in their attempts of world domination.

Countries, also known as hidden villages operate as separate entities ruled by landlords.
The leaders of the hidden villages hold equal status with the leaders of their respective countries.
Five countries in the Naruto world: the Land of Earth, the Land of Fire, Land of Lightning, the Land of Water,
and the Land of Wind are known as the "Five Great Shinobi Nations". These countries are the
most powerful in the Naruto world.They are ruled by a feudal lord and the leaders of the hidden villages
in these countries hold the title of Kage.

The faces of all Hokage are engraved on the rock formation overlooking Konohagakure.

Akatsuki (meaning "Dawn" or "Daybreak") is a fictional organization of criminal ninja in the anime,
is composed of no more than ten primary members.All known members have betrayed their villages they grew up in and are the most wanted and dangerous individuals.
Akatsuki composed of not more than 10 members: Pain (Leader), Konan, Deidara, Hidan, Itachi, Kakuzu, Kisame, Sasori, Tobi, Zetsu, Orochimaru.
Each Akatsuki member also wears a single, unique ring and each of them wear on the different finger:

Goal - Akatsuki was created by Madara Uchiha, initially dealing in assassinations and espionage that draw little attention.
The tailed beasts, nine gigantic demons of immense power, are the focus of much of Akatsuki's effort.
Pain did hints that the tailed beasts have a purpose beyond global conquest, implying that acquiring all nine would
allow his Rinnegan to return to full power. Pain, however, has different plans on using the tailed beasts, wishing
to use them to create a weapon of mass destruction that will force the world to learn the pointlessness of fighting
and try to achieve a sense of world peace.
Till the current manga- Six of the Akatsuki members had already died: Deidara (killed by Sasuke), Uchiha Itachi
(Killed by Sasuke), Hidan & Kakuzu (Killed by Shikamaru, Kakashi), Orochimaru (Akatsuki's betrayer) & Sasori (killed by Sakura and his grandma)
The tailed beasts are giant demons; referred as "Chakra Monsters" because they are actually living "ultimate chakra",
far beyond a normal human's and given physical form. Because of their power, the tailed beasts served as weapons and
tools used in Ninja Wars until it ended and several of the tailed beasts were distributed by the First Hokage amongst
the five ninja nations as a peace treaty, in order to stabilize the balance of power between nations. They are differentiated by the number of tails they have,
with each possessing an amount from one to nine. Immense strength is tempered due to their bestial nature, which restricts the person to
use it. Beasts sealed within another person are able to benefit from the knowledge of their hosts, giving them the ability to increase utilize their powers.
