Naruto closely follows the life of a boy who is feared and detested by the villagers of the hidden leaf village of
Konoha. The distrust of the boy has little to do with the boy himself, but it’s what’s inside him that causes anxiety. Long before Naruto
came to be, a Kyuubi (demon fox) with great fury and power waged war taking many lives. The battle ensued for a long time until a man
known as the Fourth Hokage, Yondaime, the strongest ninja in Konoha, fiercely fought the Kyuubi. The fight was soon won by Yondaime as
he sealed the evil demon in a human body. Thus the boy, Naruto, was born. As Naruto grows he decides to become the strongest ninja in
Konoha in an effort to show everyone that he is not as they perceive him to be, but is a human being worthy of love and admiration.
But the road to becoming Hokage, the title for the strongest ninja in Konoha, is a long and arduous one. It is a path filled with
betrayal, pain, and loss; but with hard work, Naruto may achieve Hokage.

Genin ("Low Ninja/ Junior Ninja") are the lowest level of ninja. Levels vary drastically between Genin.
Genin are put in three-man cells, and are assigned a Jonin sensei to mentor them. Genin teamwork and
experience true ninja life under the supervision and protection of an elite shinobi. They start to do their bit for their village's economy,
for which they are given a small payment (D Rank).
Chunin ("Middle Ninja") are ninja who are qualified to watch over and guide other ninja. Chunin have reached a level of
maturity that primarily consists of leadership skills and tactical prowess. In Chunin level, ninja wear an identifying tactical vest that holds ninjutsu scrolls.
Chunin are typically sent on C or B-rank missions. To get to Chunin, Genjn need to go through examination, known as the "Chunin Exams," hosted twice a year due to the growing number of ninjas.
The exam is a test not only of strength, but information gathering abilities, survival skills, and adhering to guidelines.
Jonin ("High/Elite Ninja") are generally highly-experienced ninja with great individual skill who serve as military
captains. They are often sent on A-rank missions. Sometimes assigned as sensei for three-person teams of Genin.
Most Jonin are able to use at least two types of elemental jutsu, have genjutsu and taijutsu skills.
Those who have achieved the title of Kage ("Shadow") are the leaders of the five most powerful Hidden
Villages and generally the most powerful ninja in their respective villages. The Kage stand equally with the rulers of
their countries, oversee the activities of their villages, and are the leaders of ninja society.
Most Kage tend to be at S-Rank level. The five Kage have different titles depending on their village.
Those titles are:
Hokage ("Fire Shadow") Kage of Konoha (Village Hidden Among Tree Leaves).
Mizukage ("Water Shadow") Kage of Kirigakure (Village Hidden in Mist).
Raikage ("Lightning Shadow") Kage of Kumogakure.

Tsuchikage ("Earth Shadow") Kage of Iwagakure.
S-class ninja have gained power far beyond an average Jonin and earned a legendary status.
Ninja of the S-class are often highly revered, and usually signified by nicknames allies or enemies give them. For example, the
Legendary Sannin (Tsunade, Jiraiya, and Orochimaru) are all S-class ninja.
Advanced bloodlines, traits that only appear, and can only be passed down from generation to generation in
certain clans. We've already seen many clans having a so called advanced bloodline, each having their own
advantages over another. Below is a list of clans with those bloodlines. Make your selection, and read more
about each clan.
The Hyuga clan is well known for their very powerful hand-to-hand combat style and their bloodline limit, Byakugan (White Eyes, Evil Eyes).
person with the Byakugan has a nearly 360 degree field of vision, except for a small blind spot at the back of the neck.
Byakugan users can detect anything around them within a small radius, the greater the user's skill with the Byakugan, the larger the radius is,
which makes them close-range combat experts.
Techniques include the Hakkesho Kaiten (Eight Trigram Palms Heavenly Spin),Hakke Rokujuyon Sho (Eight Trigrams Sixty-Four Palms)
and Hakke Hyaku Nijuha Sho (Eight Trigrams On Hundred Twenty-Eight Palms) which both make use of the ability to see and strike
the tenketsu (Chakra Holes)of the opponent, shutting them down and rendering him unable to use any powerful techniques that
involve chakra, and potentially killing him.
The Uchiha clan is the most famous and powerful clan of the Leaf.
They have the rare and very famous Sharingan (Copy Wheel Eye) advanced bloodline ability. They are know throughout the world for their power.
The sharingan is a special eye ability that is only apparent in the Uchiha clan.
The power of the Sharingan is judged through the number of tomoe in the eye, with a maximum of three in each.
Sharingan is thought to be descended from the Byakugan, but grants the user different abilities and a different insight.
It fits well since the sharingan can see through and mimic three types of jutsu, which are ninjutsu,
genjutsu, and taijutsu. Mangekyou Sharingan, Uchiha's ultimate genjutsu.
-First and most well known ability is to memorize any technique that it witnesses. It can memorize any standard
form of jutsu with perfect accuracy, allowing the user to use the techniques as his own.
-Second ability is granting the user incredible clarity of perception, allowing them to track fast-moving objects with ease
and even predict the subsequent movements of those objects.
-Third capability is a unique brand of hypnosis that involves suggesting actions and thoughts to the opponent.
The Mastery of Water & Ice - amazing abilities to manipulate water and ice.
Haku's most powerful technique is the Demonic Ice irrors in which he creates an area of very strong mirrors made out of ice,
surrounding his opponent. The bloodline allows him to move at the speed of light between the mirrors, bouncing back and forth
to the point where the opponent can not judge where he is at, while allowing him to throw piercing needles at his opponent.
This unique bloodline also gives it's user the ability to manipulate water as is evident when he transforms simple water in to a sonbon needle.
Shikotsumyaku (Corpse Bone Pulse) pass down in Kaguya clan. Kimimaro has displayed the Kaguya
clans frightening and graphic ability to manipulate their bone structure, they can control the density, the shape the movement and
the number of their bones and use them as weapons that are as sharp as a dagger and very destructive to their opponent.
Special offense even allowing them to shoot bones out of their fingertips that are as sharp as a spear, any point of contact
on their body would cause great damage to their opponent. The most powerful techniques this unique clan possesses are it's
many dances that are named after flowers.
Jutsu
The five basic kinds of nature manipulations are Earth,
Water, Fire, Wind, and Lightning .
People with an affinity for elements will have an easier time learning one of these elements- Doton ("Earth Release") jutsu.
Water and Suiton ("Water Release"), Fire and Katon ("Fire Release"),
Wind and Futon ("Wind Release"), and Lightning and Raiton ("Lightning Release").
Shinobi with certain Kekkei Genkai have the ability to mix two different elements into a new element. Example of:
- Haku's Hyoton jutsu, mixing Water and Wind into Ice
- First Hokage's and Yamato's Mokuton jutsu, mixing Earth and Water into Wood
Example: Mokuton no Jutsu! WIth Earth and water element, Yamato are able to make a waterfall
which help out in Naruto training in the current eps.
Basic info
"Jutsu" are divided into three categories: Genjutsu, Ninjutsu, and Taijutsu.
Ninjutsu also has two sub-categories: sealing jutsu and cursed seal jutsu, which are jutsu used to create
seals for various purposes. There are also kekkei genkai abilities - not actually jutsu, but genetically-inherited abilities that are only possessed by specific clans.
The overall effectiveness of any given jutsu is largely based on individual skill.
The two informal ranks are "secret" (hidden) and "forbidden technique" (kinjutsu). Kekkei genkai are jutsu
- Secret jutsu are passed down from generation to generation within a clan. Forbidden jutsu - A technique can be categorized
as forbidden if it either causes great harm to the user.
Ninjutsu
("Ninja Techniques") is a vague term referring to almost any technique that uses chakra and allows the user to do
something that they otherwise would be incapable of doing. The effects of ninjutsu are quite real. Ninjutsu relies on chakra and,
hand seals to be effective. Some ninjutsu can be classified as an elemental jutsu, in those cases where a specific element
(earth, fire, lightning, water, wind) is used. The phrase "Ninja Art" (Ninpo) is occasionally added to the end of the
jutsu.
- Cursed Seal jutsu (Cursed seal techniques or Technique of the Accursed Mark) are jutsu that use a special "cursed seal" to
put someone under the control of the user or elicit an unnatural effect in the one they are placed on.
-Sealing jutsu (Fuin jutsu) are jutsu that seal something inside objects or living beings. The most common
application of this is sealing weapons or other objects within scrolls to efficiently carry a large number of items.
Sealing jutsu are also utilized to restrict access to things, such as chakra or entry to a building.
Genjutsu
("Illusion Techniques") are techniques that use the chakra in the victim's nervous system to create illusions.
Genjutsu affects the five senses, though other applications of genjutsu exist. The influence of genjutsu either freeze in
place or lose consciousness, depending on how capable they are in recognizing and defending against it. Genjutsu Cancel (Genjutsu Kai)
- ways to counter genjutsu by disrupting their own chakra flow or breaking the chakra flow .
- Kekkei Genkai (Kekkei Genkai/Bloodline Limit) are abilities passed down genetically in specific clans.
Clans have developed special jutsu related to their kekkei genkai and their related jutsu. Kekkei genkai abilities that work via the user's eye are
the Byakugan, Sharingan, and Rinnegan.
Taijutsu
(Body Techniques" or "hand-to-hand combat") refers to any techniques involving the martial arts or the optimization of natural human abilities in general.
By accessing the user's stamina directly, rather than converting the user's stamina to chakra in order to execute a ninjutsu
or genjutsu technique, meaning that taijutsu is much quicker. Particularly in the Hyuga clan's Gentle Fist, Tsunade and Sakura, who combine chakra into their attacks to cause great damage.
